Riley Cornelio, former #PineCreekHigh star, enters in fifth for #Nationals in 5-5 game. I coached against Riley when he was 8-13 years old, and my son Brady played with him on Team Colorado for a few seasons. Cornelio induced DP to end inning. Based on Bo Nix’s latest video, there is every reason to believe he will be 100 percent cleared when camp opens. That is messaging Nix sent last month. #Broncos could chose to be cautious with his ankle, but seems unlikely at this point.

Halvorsen could not keep ball in park. Allowed 10 HRs over last year and a half. That is a staggering number for a reliever. Frasso might not be better. But it is worth the flip for me bc velo similar and good bullpens need multiple arm angles

@TroyRenck Not impressed. Halvorsen has bee up and down between the majors and AAA and had injuries but he has upside as a power arm yet the FO trades him for a guy who had a 4.74 ERA while not playing at altitude and a strikeout prone, poor hit-tool guy? Seems like less than a wash.

Nick Frasso brings velo and a weird arm angle. Positions on third base side of rubber so ball looks like it’s coming from SS. Delivery compared to longtime big leaguer Jered Weaver. Should be in big leagues soon. He is out of options. #Rockies more comfortable with that than #Dodgers.
