🚨 Wu Chi-wai faces deportation from 🇬🇧 this Wednesday.
If @ukhomeoffice sends him back to #HongKong, they will send a political prisoner back into the hands of the officials that jailed him for supporting democracy.
@ShabanaMahmood must immediately reverse course and extend Wu’s stay in the UK.

Happy 82nd birthday to our Patron Lord Patten of Barnes 🎂
Thank you for your steadfast support and commitment to the people of #HongKong. Wishing you good health, peace and happiness today and always.
Supporters of the Hong Kong National Security Law have no place in UK politics. Morally and constitutionally untenable.
@reformparty_uk@Nigel_Farage should kick him out.

This is huge.
Sensitive data of UK nationals for sale in China. Depressingly predictable.
1. Summon the Chinese ambassador.
2. @alexsobel proposed an amendment to prevent data transfer to China, which was resisted by Govt. Can we have this now?

The UK Government has published its latest Six-monthly Report on #hongkong , covering the period July to December 2025. Find out more about Six-monthly Reports - and why the #uk produces them - in the clip below. Read the #SixmonthlyReport :

If a bounty-hunted, sanctioned by Beijing, victim in an ongoing National Security Act espionage case like @finnlau_cd is made to wait interminably for a UK citizenship determination, what hope have other HK BN(O)s got?
Come on @ukhomeoffice sort it out!

Stand with local residents and make your voice heard. Saturday, 17th January at 2pm, join us outside the Royal Mint Court, London, to protest the proposed Chinese mega-embassy. The proposal would create one of the largest embassies in the world and has been surrounded by secrecy, controversy, and serious national security concerns.

Today, thousands gathered in London for the eighth time to protest against the proposed 🇨🇳 super embassy and changes to ILR requirements for #BNOs and #HongKong refugees. We urge @GOVUK to listen to the appeals of the community, and protect those seeking a safe haven in 🇬🇧

🚨 We are pleased to see @shabanamahmood of @ukhomeoffice state that #BNO Hong Kongers will be exempt from the 10+1 pathway to ILR.
We will keep advocating to ensure that this promise is upheld.

This is a good sign, but this statement comes after numerous troubling announcements from leading political parties which have struck fear into those who have sought refuge in the UK. Hong Kongers and Ukrainians are not in the UK illegally. In responding to their fears @YvetteCooperMP and @ShabanaMahmood have behaved honourably. Hong Kongers need and deserve stability, and so I will be pressing ahead with my two amendments to the Borders Bill which remove all doubt and uncertainty and will enshrine this welcome commitment in law. @ipacglobal@hk_watch@thecfhk@Stand_with_HK@UkrainianRescue@RTHondavehanson@HelenaKennedyKC
@lukedepulford@ZrA2zumi I think reform UK is not getting a solution but creating more issues. Frankly, BNO is one of the British Subject. Don’t betray BNO hongkongers once again.
