A Bush White House spokesman drops a bomb on CNN that nobody saw coming: Barack Obama got on the 2008 Indiana primary ballot with FRAUDULENT signatures.

And he says it to Obama’s own strategist, David Axelrod, sitting three feet away.

People, including the Democrat county chair, went to jail over that. Barack Obama should not have been on the primary ballot in the state of Indiana.”

Pete Seat is right. In 2013, four Indiana Democrats were convicted for forging signatures on the 2008 presidential primary petitions, and county party chair Butch Morgan went to jail for orchestrating it.

They literally copied names off old petitions, including a former governor who confirmed he never signed.

Election fraud is not a conspiracy theory. It happens, and a county chairman of a major party sat in a jail cell for it.

The DOJ just sent letters to county election offices all over California. They get 48 hours to work with DOJ and DHS on lists of likely noncitizens who were mailed ballots. San Bernardino County alone got 1,133 names.

Nobody is being purged here. DOJ is asking them to set those ballots aside until citizenship is checked. If you're a citizen, you get counted. If you're not, you were never supposed to vote in the first place.

Bill Essayli put it plainly. Any election official who knowingly processes a noncitizen's ballot is opening themselves up to legal jeopardy. Good. Noncitizen voting is a federal crime, and helping it happen is a crime too.

Alex Padilla is already crying about "interference." Verifying that the people voting in American elections are Americans is the bare minimum, and it shouldn't take a federal letter to get California to do it.

Every county clerk in California is now on notice.
