Not all feedback deserves attention. Some are constructive and good for you. Some are toxic and can have a negative effect on your well-being. Learn to be discerning; always protecting your mental and emotional well being.
Every stage of your life is preparing you for the next level. Be content with what is and what’s to come. The Almighty has planned it all. Even if you seem to be in a hopeless situation and feel vulnerable, remember it will come to pass and be okay in the end.
Why do we always think about what can go wrong rather than what can go right? We seem to be experts in creating problems that weren’t even there in the first place. Think good thoughts. Use the time to get closer to the Almighty and above all, think positive.
I found a guy who goes around the US asking 70 to 100-year-olds their:
• Biggest Regrets
• Biggest Lessons
• Advice to their younger self
Oddly enough, most of their answers are the same…
Here are my top 8:
Not everything that is said against you deserves a response. Especially if something is said without much thought or knowing the circumstances. Choosing to remain silent is best sometimes. Do not give value to those who have no value.
If you lay your trust in the Lord of the Worlds, He will send you in a different direction to avoid what isn’t for you. Your plans may not have worked out but trust Him because His plans are the best.
Don't always be in a hurry. The Almighty might slow you down just to protect you. A delay doesn’t mean denial. There may be evil ahead which you can’t see but He can. You’ll be forever grateful that you didn’t rush headlong into things. Slow down.
There will be times when things happen and you can’t comprehend them. That’s okay. The Almighty works in amazing ways which our minds cannot fathom at times. Don’t try to understand everything. You’ll end up frustrated. You just have to trust Him. That’s where faith comes in.
im grateful for everything but inside me, i dont really know how to be proud of this life knowing for years that what I achieved is actually my parents’ achievements…. not mine 😕
Sometimes God will ask you to do things that seem over your head. He’ll put dreams in your heart that you can’t accomplish on your own. But God wouldn’t ask you to do it if you weren’t well able. This is when you have to have the right mindset, not weak or limited.
