@justaFLDoc1@DrSamGirgis This one is fresh (posted today, dec 7). Can compare with vaccine induced immunity which after 6 months needs to be boosted.

@MartinKulldorff@CDCgov@CDCMMWR More sensible conclusion of the study:
Get vaccine, guys, so that if you end up in the hospital because of symptoms similar to covid, it's less likely due to actual covid
@MartinKulldorff@CDCgov@CDCMMWR Essence of the study:
Among patients in hospital with "covid-19-like" illnesses:
1. unvax with prior record of covid, 1020 patients
2. vax with no prior record of covid (no guarantee they haven't had covid), 6328 patients
Give them covid tests, grp 1 has higher positivity rate

This set of data from Israel seems to debunk this theory that vaccinated people are less likely to develop severe symptoms or be hospitalized.
@MLevitt_NP2013 Why so honest now? I don't know.
Maybe it's because they want to show a reduction in order to push a 3rd vaccine dose.
Maybe it's because they want to shut down the country\mandate masks.
Maybe it's related to politics (Regime changed, Netanyahu->Bennett).

@AmazonHelp That's not the issue. Here's the link to the ebook: https://t.co/nI5nfqkDGP. Check "Available on these devices", and you'll see that Kindle for Android is not there, which leads to the problem I'm having. My question: why is Kindle for Android not supported for this book?
@AmazonHelp I tried, and it redirected me to the main kindle page. In any case, wonder the reason for the special exception for Android for this book, it seems to be something that can be rectified quickly
@AmazonHelp The kindle version is marked as unavailable for Kindle for Android, even though it's available for Windows Phone/Blackberry/iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad. I do most of my reading on Android devices. Wonder if this is a foresight.
@ThomasJ87536679@BioBreakout@YogiSC1127 The number of samples to measure sensitivity and specificity seems quite low to me, but I'd defer to the professionals to make the judgment.
@BioBreakout For the somewhat critical cases, should just check the lung CT scan (ground glass opacities), and test for regular flu and bacterial pneumonia. If these two tests are negative, should go ahead and treat them like they are covid19 cases. I heard this approach was used in china.
