+350 units in 2 hours! tried to play the next shift but the pit seemed like they were waiting for me. when the extra suit came down, it was obvious. when i asked why they shuffled early, they didnt even answer and just said a normal player would be going crazy over the shuffle 🤷‍♂️

@elleloveCHI i'm not hating on them, i just personally can't imagine going to a casino to watch people gamble. but i guess that is part of the culture that casinos have created.

yesterday in high limit, 2 people at different times came and sat down at my table. they were very friendly with the staff which meant they were regulars. both times they were only there to watch and live vicariously through me. sad to see how ingrained people can be into casinos

made it all back and broke even from yesterday! +300 units in a solid 6 hours of all headsup time, ended up leaving once people started joining and ended on a good shoe. i did the get the classic ID request from a host, but they seemed genuine this time. heading back tomorrow!

first shoe of the day on a lower limit table than usual, the hole gets even deeper and i am two buy-ins from a CTR. even though i only have one day left on the trip, i might actually have to withdraw. just gonna call it a day if i have to CTR, this is officially my worst trip

got 9 hours in the past 2 days with a result of -200 units. atleast i’m on the tail end of my trip now and should be able to last with my leftover trip roll without refilling. this is about to be one of my worst trips in terms of AV, but atleast i covered my expenses in EV 🫠

+100 unit win after 30mins of blackjack at the next place, making a bit of progress out of the hole. always feels like i’m putting a big target on my back every time i have to request to raise the limits with no card. not the greatest experience in this area so far but it’s early

just can’t stop losing terribly on high limit slot plays. got in 2 hours of blackjack before the backoff but the win there was insignificant compared to my slot variance. starting to get worried about having to pull out cash so i don’t have to limit my spread, it’s been a while..

started my trip off with my worst high limit play ever, losing 15k. pretty used to these swings at this point, but losing always takes a toll on your emotions. just gotta brush it off and keep striving to move forward every day with no regrets in the pursuit of positive EV ⛰️

the tcg market gets more and more interesting. apparently gamestop just got scammed on these cards that are only worth $4 due to someone buying their own card on ebay for $800 then goes and sells other 33 cards for $700

yesterday i had the chance to buy atleast 30 more of these. i decided not to since i had bought enough that day and was worried there was a reason why no one was buying them. for any pokemon investors/scalpers out there, would you have bought them all? next day they were all gone

finished the one piece live action just in time for these pre-order trading cards to come out! really enjoyed the show so definitely gonna pick these up, might even watch the anime. the fact that the one piece market has been spiking is an added bonus 🤫

waiting in line for a pokemon restock and everyone just got told “if you are camping at the entrance at 4am, you will now be trespassed.” this is getting crazy
