@xwanyex People with resources are more likely to exist in a world of mostly people with healthy productive lives. They don't walk back out of rehab surrounded by dysfunctional people. More silent peer pressure to be straight than an environment where tons of people have issues.
@BowTiedYukon What's your verdict on asking a rando to spot you on your last bench set? I don't ask to work in, but I'm shameless about the rando spotter
@bowtiedtempered@AntiDoc They also don't get how many distinct athletic levels there are. An ok high school wrestler would humiliate an average Joe, but would look completely untrained against a college wrestler who would get ragdolled by an Olympian. And, there are several levels between each of those
@Jack_Schmidt_TM If she would lock in, she'd be six months from a different life. There's no reason to be "upfront and honest" about a very fixable flaw for 13 years. Just fix it. I don't say this to make fun of her.
Classic SNL was so good. This is such an interesting skit comparing it to the show now, knowing how far left it is. What was once pure comedy has become their platform. Funny how things change. Phil Hartman was awesome!!!!!!! ๐ฅ๐คฃ
@micheal_ws18 I'm on the road all week and don't bring it with me to work out in hotel gyms and Anytime Fitness in random towns. I'm mentally addicted to using it on my one heavy bench workout every Saturday. Don't know if it helps my #s that much.
@TheLastKekker Truck driver here. Just over that. But, it took years and people don't want this weird schedule and life for their kids. Work-life balance? Push. That money IS there in the trades. It's just not a 40 hour life.
The socialist regards society much as a child regards supper: he notices with great precision who received the largest slice, while remaining curiously uninterested in who rose at dawn to bake the thing.
Socialists always imagine themselves at the table, never in the kitchen.
