@meredithmo Meredith, I can't with these fucking people anymore. Even my therapist rolled his eyes and said he's sick of their shit when I brought this up today.
@TheRealTavie@hodgman@PFTompkins I'm from Kansas and I've literally never eaten creamed corn, much less at Thanksgiving. I don't know who these people are.
@gwensnyderPHL@PhillyMayor Hi from Portland. I'm sorry this is happening. We knew the idea that she would "reform" your police department was ridiculous, because she was supposed to do that here. I hope your leaders hold her and the Philly PD accountable.
@BethvilleMayor Nobody could really understand what my grandpa said except for my family. He was also delightful, and would call out bullshit by saying "Well, that's absurd." I like to break that one out from time to time.
@DeathCar72 It's bad. I have a similar hair type (hers would probably be curlier if she knew what she was doing) and want to send her some hair care tutorials, mostly because I'm tired of seeing people say she has a perm.
@braak It wasn't very common where I grew up, at least among our generation. It was usually a combo of someone's first and middle name because they were named after their dad. Some parents did combine the names of significant people into one.
@DaddySnagz@girlziplocked@ProFromWithin But even within our unionizing and organizing, we do the majority of the emotional labor and relationship work. It's not just capitalism. Men need to take this work on, too, and stand in solidarity.
