I miss when Pokemon felt less homogenized and we'd get official adaptations that felt radically different than one another.

Nintendo used to be the company that said "yeah, we hired a porn artist to make a Pokemon manga geared toward teens that ups the sci-fi elements and makes the premise of the TV anime a little edgier."
