#MaulanaKhanZeb was the Maulana Azad of this century. He was a modernist,a climate activist & an advocate for Peace.His secular politics were intolerable to the extremists around us.
His death is one of the greatest losses for the Pashtuns during this 2nd wave of terrorism.

The post-2017 era was meant to be a period of healing after years of deadly violence in the merged districts.We wouldn’t be witnessing violence on this scale if the promises of rehabilitation,reconstruction,& development had been fulfilled. No heed was paid to d post-merger phase

The 3% NFC share (Rs100 billion annually for 10 years) pledged under the 2018 FATA reforms remains undelivered. Instead of rehabilitation & development, people hv been met with taxes, shrinking quotas, legal uncertainty,& continued deprivation.

In 2008, local Mashran who stood with the state by forming Lashkars to resist militants were abandoned.More recently those who convened Jirgas against militants hv also been left vulnerable after their security was withdrawn.Ppl in Islamabad,Lahore,&Karachi need to understand

Before August 15, 2021, the govts of Hamid Karzai & Ashraf Ghani had one constant complaint against Pak, that its soil was being used against Afghanistan. Today, Pakistan is raising the same complaint about Afghanistan.
