Our beads measure the radiation received at the site of a tumour, so the clinician can check the dose and adjust to reduce side effects or treatment failure.
Very grateful to Dr Jafari and husband for meeting with me today. We discussed further initiatives to help keep Afghan women safe and how we can keep their education going and accredited. Will be asking @nadhimzahawi and @JuliaGillard for advice and support.

The pre-production version of our automatic TLD reader is now a reality.
This speed of readout along with the use of silica bead TL detectors inside the patient's body enable clinicians to know the exact dose in a timely manner and correct for any radiotherapy treatment errors.
