#coolie is a big misstep for @Dir_Lokesh. What was novel in #Kaithi and #Vikram is repetitive in this movie. Violence is totally unnecessary and doesn't add to the excitement and is very poorly staged. The quality of the movies have been on a downward trend since Vikram and I am hoping this is the bottom of the barrel.

#Rajnikanth swag still remains but the script and screenplay is so bad that it's like feeding fodder to a lion. @anirudhofficial is certainly tripping and he could be the next #HimeshReshammiya of the Tamil industry. The songs have lost their sheen and there is barely any melody and the beats are repetitive and he is singing pretty much all the songs (something we have had to put up with @dhanushkraja as well). I am not sure if there are any singers who can actually sing in the tamil industry that these people feel compelled to sing all their songs.

Let's hope the director focuses on narrative with a suitable cast and doesn't rope in actors for the sake of doing so. @iamnagarjuna , #AamirKhan, @nimmaupendra and #sathyaraj barely add anything to the abysmal script.

All in all, it was a mistake stepping into the theaters to watch this movie and the sooner people avoid movies like this, better content will land in the theaters.

@ashwinravi99 was probably the greatest ever bowler to play for India. His stats while impressive on their own are only a part of his greatness. His ability to think through a batsman's dismissal and execute it flawlessly was a treat a watch. I wish he had more opportunities in countries like England and Australia to develop and execute his skills. He had shown that he could adapt and outperform bowlers from those countries in conditions favourable to them which is not to be taken lightly. And the fact that he was unmatchable in India for more than a decade only highlights his greatness. You will be missed Ashwin. Life has come full circle for @imVkohli. What was exposed as a technical flaw on the UK tour in 2014 and was subsequently addressed has returned with vengeance. Virat constantly nicking off the ball angled around the 5th stump must probably be the greatest flaw ever noticed amongst any GOAT batsman ever. To see that he was prolific and god-like despite such a flaw is amazing and a testament to Virat's ability to mask a deficiency at an elite level. I love watching Kohli bat and the energy he brings on to the field. To him must go the credit of building an Indian team that could not just compete but conquer opposition teams in alien conditions. The fact that India was unbeatable in India was just an icing on a very delicious cake. I hope we enjoy Virat for whatever time that's left in him and I pray that he finds a second wind like @stevesmith49 or @root66 and continues to dazzle us. #Amaran - an astounding movie with stupendous performances from @Siva_Kartikeyan, @Sai_Pallavi92 and the supporting actors. So refreshing to watch a Tamil movie which is treated in a pan Indian way without calling itself that. The acting, cinematography, action and other technical aspects are handled superbly and what brings this all together is the layering in characterisation. Sai pallavi nails it and delivers a performance for the ages. I wish that they had depicted the personal background of the lead character with authenticity but other than that, this probably would be the movie of the the year for me. Well done to the whole team and @RKFI for making a no frills movie and still leaving such an indelible impression on the movie goer

The 2nd test match between Pakistan and England is poised very interestingly. Chasing a total of 250+ in the 4th innings may not be beyond the reach of England given their ultra positive approach that almost takes the pitch out the equation. Just following the AFG vs NZ test match in Delhi, I am pondering why grounds across the world do not invest in covers that will shield the whole outfield? I cannot understand how that would be more expensive than the loss of revenue from no play happening. This sounds ridiculous. Also, if @BCCI with all the money in their coffers cannot make this happen, there is no hope elsewhere. Kudos to @OfficialSLC for making this happen for the ground under their control. Watched #bluejay movie on #Netflix and its a wonderful addition to the theme of fleeting moments, longing and missed opportunities. Just over 80 minutes long, the movie packs a punch with solid acting and terrific chemistry between the lead pair of @MarkDuplass and @mssarahpaulson. Highly recommend !!!!

I am a massive fan of movies like #beforesunrise, #beforesunset and #96 where the feelings of longing, belonging and attachment is beautifully amplified and how time neither diminishes nor degrades those feelings. Keep watching these movies repeatedly and I feel the same lump in my throat every time I watch it. Beautiful story narration, direction and acting making those moments super real. #lovetranscendstime
