@HS_intolerance @HelenSwire The feed we were watching in Government class was doing a live report from the ground when the first tower fell. We saw a huge cloud of dust coming at her from behind and then they cut the feed and went back to studio. I still wonder if she was hurt by the debris.

@420stonerman69 @Regan_Carter We literally went from to room as the bell rang watching from just before the second plane hit. I still don't know why we bothered, no one would have noticed. I passed my twin brother in the hall and he asked me why I was crying. I didn't know I was.

@420stonerman69 @Regan_Carter I was in French class taking a quiz. Mlle. Gorsky was on her computer and cut in, "something's happening" and turned on the TV in time for us to watch the second plane hit. My school was a new build, we had tvs built into every classroom wall.

@jeremyct That's an amazing job for a teenager. When I was a kid I made 20 bucks a day, 20 bucks an hour is awesome! That's not a job for a full-grown adult with an apartment and a dog to support.

2) They don't have to be watching the feed, it compiles a database of information on the comings and goings of private citizens.
3) What they choose to do with it now, and what a person can do with it in the future is not the same thing.

@AntiLeftMemes We pulled a couch out of the dumpster and had a friend help us carry it up 3 flights of stairs. It lived in our law school apartment until we moved out and put it back in the same dumpster we found it in to begin the cycle again. I do hope it has reached furniture nirvana by now.

@skumWgmi I didn't get married that long ago and my wedding cost $2500 and I paid for all the dresses. You choose a $5k designer, you choose a vineyard over a park, you choose a three course catered meal over a pig roast, you chose a band over a local dj who works for beer.

@adamdangeross @KazePNW Enter Buffalo - tons of dead space, lots of super cheap hydroelectric power (Niagara Falls was a hydroplant before they were cool), and access to a vast amount of water via that big @$$ lake. The most annoying neighbor is an old polish lady who goes door to door selling flowers.

@McgeeOlive2 @FiveTimesAugust And you would be correct. But it is arduous enough and takes long enough that we have time and space to think this is stupid and only really crazy people will do it. (Think crazy ex stallers) What happens when that time is condensed into minutes?

@JuvenileBluster @MW4Liberty Not that *I* personally support achieving it, but it is possible to do so, and I'd rather focus on having the argument of how to meet that middle ground than deal with a true socialist.

@JuvenileBluster @MW4Liberty My issue is with 'socialism' as he uses it here. People do think this is socialism. They want Grandma to have healthcare, and suddenly they are planning a socialist revolution, when what the think is socialism is actually just a welfare state and achievable without all the blood.
