HLL, the organizer and host of the Golden Disc Awards, announced on the 20th that "Sung Si-kyung and #문가영 will serve as MCs for the 41st Golden Disc Awards, which will be held on January 9 and 10, 2027, at a special outdoor stage at the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC) in Hanoi, Vietnam."

This marks the third consecutive year that the Sung Si-kyung and Mun Ka-young MC duo will be together. Mun Ka-young first took on the hosting role at the 39th Golden Disc Awards, at which time the three-person MC system featuring Sung Si-kyung, Mun Ka-young, and Cha Eun-woo was established. With Cha Eun-woo absent due to military service, Sung Si-kyung and Mun Ka-young will lead the awards ceremony as a two-person MC duo for the 41st edition, following the 40th.

Mun Ka-young, the "Muse of the Golden Disc," has received high marks as an MC since her very first year holding the microphone, thanks to her precise diction and dignified hosting skills. Mun Ka-young, who has always loved music, drew attention by clearly conveying her genuine enjoyment of the stage and her support for singers as a K-pop fan. Mun Ka-young is also highly active in her main profession. She received recognition for her acting skills by winning the Best Actress in a Film award at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards held last May for her role in the movie *Once We Were Us*, which was released last December. Having steadily accumulated experience as an awards ceremony MC alongside her acting career, she is expected to demonstrate even more fluid hosting skills at this ceremony.
