The ambiguity comes down to whether you assume left associativity or right associativity. Many programming languages mix them for historical reasons. There is no accepted right answer to the equation as shown.
@DavidZipper@GHSAHQ We literally are teaching our kids that they have the right-of-way. It used to be, people waited to cross the road until there were no more cars. Now, it is fashionable to yield to the pedestrian. In a sense it is nice that the big bad vehicle must yield. But the car wins.
@Resist_05 I hadn’t heard about this yet. He really has fuck-you money. I have not always agreed with what he thinks, but I always thought he called things the way he sees them. Real integrity. Rare today
@AliAbdaal There is zero chance this gets a rational look. Its like min wage. I will pay $5 per hour and hire you for 1,000 hours, or pay you $50 an hour and hire you zero hours. Most here are gladly arguing for the second. Wages are only for the employed. Zero is what you get. Wage = 0
@HistoryBoomer There are similarities, but mostly on the surface. The Nazi's primary opponents were Communists. When they would gain power in a state they would murder the opposition. The nationalists would come to power and do the same thing. Real evil against Evil. We aren't like that.
@lisperati Apparently, Descartes was saying, I can never be sure I am not dreaming (therefore the bolt is not real), but that is not true of my doubting. Only a mind can doubt, therefore, it (the mind ... me) _must_ be real.
@lisperati Its not a 1000000x, but it is at least 200x. I am to fix it, so this subject is very close to my heart. Thanks for writing it. You see something that almost no one sees.
@lisperati I agree. I guess I am referring to someone who can create a technology base business, but doesn't have millions of dollars to buy a team. We limit entrepreneurs today to either being very well financed or ludicrously experience in programming. Doesn't have to be like that.
@NancyRomm It just is not pretty and there are endless traffic lights. Until you get further south, then it is just lowlands until you get to Lake Okeechobee. Then you drive through the sugar cane fields. Not interesting. Miami is both ugly and beautiful. Get to Coral Gables. South Bch
@NancyRomm 27 is nice north of I-4 (Some scenic towns like Micanopy, Claremont), but I would jump on the Turnpike at Orlando. I grew up in Central Florida and have driven extensively the entire state. Ocala sounds nice (horses, etc), but it is too small to offer much.
@NancyRomm @JacobKishnevi 27 is not great. Heavy traffic through Polk County. Flat, dead citrus groves, nothing to see. The Gulf coast has beautiful beaches, but so does South Florida. Blow through central Florida unless you want to do Disney et al. Turnpike is more scenic than 27 and fast. Have fun!
