Ok but sometimes my nanny randomly feeds baby solid foods at times I traditionally breastfeed him and then she is all surprised when I show up and I’m like wtf? And then he won’t nurse and then I’m mad at her O:)

And then she lingered when I came home and tried to get his attention and to get him to say bye to her etc and it’s just like read the room! Leave so I can have my special arrive home time with him! BYEEEE

Also she took him to build a bear today while I was at work and I’m just soooo jealous

My current go to prep is quiche. Easy to make, keeps and reheats well, can put all sorts of bits and bobs from the fridge in. Most importantly, baby likes and eats it!

People who say “oh so you’ll never have a birthday again” when learning my son and I share a birthday are so wrong and pessimistic!! My baby was the best birthday gift ever and my husband made me feel very celebrated!

Today is baby and I’s joint birthday party. Food is prepped and there’s a cute mural of photos of us and the weather is cooperating. Grateful

my whole perspective on life has changed so much since becoming a parent and now when my childless 30s friends are like “ugh tired of girlbossing so hard and then today I did FIVE loads of laundry ugh need a nap” it just…. hits different… ya know? 😅
