Instead of buying your meat from the supermarket, why not try to support your local butcher?

Helping businesses and jobs in your community.

Maybe not every time, but once a month? Try it - you might like it!🇬🇧

Fantastic to see so many farmers protesting on Truro. We are so much to have them and their wonderful produce here in Cornwall. Support our farmers, eat local, for a sustainable and delicious future. NoFamersNoFood

Are other institutions rolling out Mobile Device Management policies whereby you can no longer use personal devices to access institutional services (email etc) unless you agree to their terms of control over your personal phones and laptops?

@SoVeryBritish Fish. No other option.

[Cornwall is a Nation @YesCornwall]

In just one day this tweet got half a million views, thousands of likes and overwhelmingly positive comments.

Who says the Cornish language is meaningless?!

When we are confident in our nationhood, the world takes notice.

[Little Green Space 🦋 @LGSpace]

There are so many green spaces in our towns and villages that are over-mown or sprayed, but which could instead be boosting biodiversity and bringing nature back into our lives like this corner of Cambridge. RT if you agree 🐝

Last night's whole cow roast at Treway farm, Cornwall. It took nearly two days to cook on this rather medieval looking contraption, fed 250 guests, and tasted like no beef ever tasted before!

[Virtual Museum of Printing @VMoPrinting]

C19 printing history is connected with the industrialisation of the British Isles, as our contributor Bradford Industrial Museum nicely demonstrates. Some of its collection highlights include: Monotype machine; Linotype model 78; and Meteor Automatic stop-cylinder printing press.

[Virtual Museum of Printing @VMoPrinting]

How to keep the printing history alive and relevant? Certainly one important way is through education, as our amazing contributor the Bodleian Bibliographical Press does. The teaching programme offers learning sessions, using technologies from 15th - 21st century.

Looking forward to sewing these seedy lovelies which have just arrived from @higgledygarden. Even more, we are anticipating the flotilla of colour and scent that they will doubtless give us.

@saranaidinecox Fitted sheets are the work of the devil! Ironing and storing them is a total nightmare. And don't get me started on duvet covers!!

The Newquay--Gatwick route really makes for some badly timed transfers and a helluva early start to get the flight to London.

[Dr Caroline Archer-Parré💙 @TypeTweets]

A six hour stopover in Gatwick is not to be advised.

Our very cute (and highly delicious) chocolate Easter cicadas from a fabulous artisan chocolate maker in Nice.

Our unintentionally floriferous lunch: dandelion leaves, pea shoots, goats cheese covered in petals and a bunch of edible flowers (with bead and saucisson on the side snd a glass of rosé)

[LettersFromTruro 〓〓🇫🇷💙🏊‍♀️ @TruroLetters]

Truro’s Victoria Square looks quite naked without the bunting. I assume this is a short hiatus before the flotilla of coloured flags return?
