@realmasroork@CEOAdam Oh, I’m not arguing for the banning of scalpers. I’m questioning your assumption that the surplus they capture is inherently justified by the liquidity and inventory risk they provide.
@realmasroork@CEOAdam If AMC prices at $35, why assume that’s a pricing “error” rather than AMC optimizing for something other than maximizing ticket price? And even if resale improves allocation, how do you account for rent-seeking costs and the surplus captured by resellers rather than consumers?
@mh012012 Counting recalls treats a recall that sickens nobody and a recall associated with 9,000+ illnesses as one event each, but I understand the impulse to debunk the OP’s framing.
I’m only seeing deeply unserious people use this Fauci thing to express some sort of vindication, and they’re getting that vindication from the government performing their outrage, no less.
No shade to anyone w a bbl but Tiarra girl you found it safe to lay on a table never asked what’s in the anesthesia and/or whatever they’ve pumped into your ass, but you got questions about the vaccine. Ok.
@notseelen@zicopriv1 I don’t think it was about “having a life.” He kept saying “gender roles,” then abruptly switched to “patriarchy” like they meant the same thing. Once he stopped communicating a clear point, there wasn’t much conversation left to have.
@colincsalao Apparently, we’re supposed to treat every threat as harmless trolling until a gambler losing real money gets close enough to hurt an athlete. Then everyone will act shocked, hold hearings, and name a law after the victim.
@MalloryBros9@1future I think it’s a good song, but We Still Don’t Trust You is sitting right there with a tracklist full of songs that better illustrate what you think he’s saying here.
