@OwenBenjamin Does it mean they are framing themselves as the protagonist though? Are all authors endorsing the point of view of all their characters? No. Isn't it possible that this written about a way of seeing women they disagreed with?

An entire faction of our politics has become so unmoored from reality that when they encounter basic facts that threaten their position, they consider them ridiculous.
Can we normalise that reading 100 books a year is an insanely high amount for anyone with a job and a life and that reading that amount likely means your not retaining any of the information
