Why have a kid if you cannot afford them? It is not the foreigners it is bad life decisions on people who do not have the funds to raise kids

@Phonenurd Pixel 11 does not seem to make any fundamental changes to the problems I have had with it in the past. No fast charging. Battery still very mediocre. Processor is 2nm but still last year performance level. I don't care for AI crap so that stuff is irrelevant to me

@Phonenurd Screen often times not as vivid or good as the competition. Software is solid too but for an Android, Samsung has better customisation and optimisation with the latest One UIs. Battery life has also been very mediocre on Pixels - mainly due to the optimisation of the processor

@2147mill And then that is a life where you don't get to do anything except live. Point is - yes you can live off. Just 1 person. Not a good life, not comfortable and not a lot things you can do outside of just live and work.

@2147mill If you add public transportation - assume £8 per day for Tubes, Busses etc - 3 days a week hybrid working in office - £24 per week - £96 per month gone. If you have a car assume leased £125 per month + Insurance at £125 - then all of a sudden you have nothing left

@AndyBroadbent75 @2147mill £2,693? No pension and no student loan maybe. But most people have student loan and would pay 4% into a pension. So more like £2,517. Outside of London it is decent. A few years ago livable in the South as well (I started on £30k as a Grad in Surrey). But now mainly North livable

@NealGardner_ Match was passive on both sides. Slow and risk aversed. Brazil has lost that spark, the wild plays, the dribbling/elastico 1-2 combos. It feels like we were not watching Brazil. Tons of random diving to gain advantages from the referee. Both penalties were mercy from humiliation
