@onu_slim Then I know the problems, and there are millions of Nigerians who are willing and capable of contributing positively to the nation's development. For that reason, I firmly believe that tomorrow can be better than today.
@onu_slim Actually, I agree with much of what you said, especially regarding the situation in which many African countries find themselves under democratic systems, where people often follow the direction set by their leaders and political decision-makers.
@onu_slim So, who's genuinely wish to see the country progress. The real challenge lies with leaders whose actions and intentions do not always serve the best interests of the Nigerian people.
Despite these challenges, I remain optimistic. You know the problems,
@onu_slim not only in Nigeria but across the African continent. Therefore, we should be cautious and realistic when assessing the role of foreign countries in our affairs.
That said, I believe there are individuals, both within and outside Nigeria,
@onu_slim However, concerning the point that America has noticed what is happening in Nigeria, I believe the issue is more complex. It is not only about America observing Nigeria. Like every major power, the United States has its own interests, ambitions, and strategic objectives,
@ARISEtv Actually, I am surprised, it looks like almost everything in 9ja today has become politicized. Even institutions that are expected to remain professional and neutral, such as the Nigerian Armed Forces and the Police Force, are increasingly being perceived through a political lens
@NigeriaStories Actually, I am very surprised It seems that almost everything in 9ja today has become politicized. Even institutions that are expected to remain professional and neutral, such as the 9ja Armed Forces and the Police Force, are increasingly being perceived through a political lens.
On this blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha, may Allah accept our prayers, sacrifices, and sincere intentions. May this noble day strengthen love, mercy, unity, and peace among us all. Eid Mubarak to Everyone..🥰
@Pressman2040@realDonaldTrump The issue should not be about the screenshot of the post
As long as the incidents are real let's face reality and find solutions.
We need to determine where the fault lies with our leaders or with foreign intervention all these things had not happened until after the US arrived
@michael_da48358 That's true. The issue should not be about the screenshot of the post.
As long as the incidents are real let's face reality and find solutions.
We need to determine where the fault lies with our leaders or with foreign intervention?
@iOccupyNigeria Although the post screenshot is fake but all these things had not happened until after the American soldiers arrived there in the name of fighting terrorists, everything goes up
Honestly it is for us Nigerians to ask who is our real enemy?
@OfficialAzzaki Then all these things had not happened until after the American soldiers arrived there in the name of fighting terrorists.
So now, frankly speaking it is for us Nigerians to ask: who is our real enemy?
The Withdrawal of the US from the @WHO is unfortunate. For decades,WHO has been a global institution and instrument for tackling global health challenges in all corners of the globe and in the most remotest communities.WHO is irreplaceable and indispensable.I wish to call on Europe,China and rich Arab gulf countries to fill up the financial Gap left behind by the US exit.
Despite our differences in views, ideas, and beliefs-ethnic, religious, and tribal-even now unity is not impossible. We can join hands to develop our country just as other nations embrace their differences for the sake of national progress, why not us?
We are all human being 🌎
There was a time when Nigerians regardless of our differences, we stood united to defend Nigeria’s honour against any form of external disrespect. Today, that sense of pride and collective responsibility is gradually fading. We now argue among ourselves while others define us, mock us and dismiss us. Unfortunately! 😒
FABRICATED LIES AGAINST MUSLIMS IN NIGERIA
In the ongoing ideological and socio-political campaign against Muslims across Nigeria, several false narratives continue to be promoted against them for no reason other than their affiliation with Islam. Below are four of the most commonly fabricated lies:
1.Islamization Agenda: This is a blatant falsehood that accuses Muslims of pursuing an Islamization agenda in Nigeria. There are no credible reports of anyone being compelled to accept Islam by force. Individuals who embrace Islam daily do so out of personal conviction and free choice, a right guaranteed by freedom of religion.
2. Land Grabbing: Amid competition between animal grazing and farming, a concocted narrative of land grabbing by Fulani herders emerged. To date, no individual has credibly demonstrated that their land or property anywhere in Nigeria has been forcefully taken over by Fulani pastoralists. These nomadic herders traditionally migrate seasonally in search of pasture and water for their livestock. The false claims largely arise from misunderstandings surrounding their movement during rainy and dry seasons.
3. Fulanization Agenda: The so-called Fulanization agenda is often used interchangeably with the Islamization narrative to suit a predetermined bias against Muslims. Although Fulani herders are sometimes seen carrying cutlasses—tools primarily used for clearing bushes and cutting tree branches while grazing—there has never been a verified case of anyone being forced to embrace Islam with such tools or by any form of coercion.
4. Establishment of Islamic Caliphate: This claim stems mainly from the farmer–herder crisis, where Fulani herders, many of whom are nominal Muslims struggling to sustain their livestock, are portrayed as militants pursuing the establishment of an Islamic Caliphate. Despite persistent repetition of this lie, no village, town, or community has been captured or occupied for such a purpose. Even extremist groups such as Boko Haram and ISWAP, who falsely cloak their activities in religious language, have failed to establish any Islamic emirate or caliphate in Nigeria.
5. Declaration of Religious or So-Called Jihadism: This false narrative stems from the insecurity bedeviling Nigeria, particularly the farmer–herder conflicts, which are often twisted into a religious war—much like the claim of a “Christian genocide” in Nigeria. In reality, the crisis of insecurity has claimed the lives of more Muslims than adherents of any other faith, as well as many people who do not practice any religion at all.
Regarding the farmer–herder crisis, attacks by pastoralists are often a consequence of cattle rustling, provocation, selective judgment, impunity, and blanket assumptions. The widespread perception that pastoralists are not indigenous to specific areas—or to Nigeria as a whole—has further fueled misunderstanding and tension, obscuring the complex, non-religious roots of the conflict.
These narratives remain unsupported by facts and continue to thrive largely on prejudice, misinformation, and deliberate misrepresentation.

Nigeria is sitting on a cinematic goldmine.
Imagine a high-budget movie/series adaptation of Ruwan Bagaja, Shehu Umar, and Magana Jari Ce (1–3) stories that shaped our childhood, values, and imagination.
This isn’t nostalgia. It’s cultural preservation, global storytelling, and soft power.
Africa doesn’t lack stories.
We lack investment in our classics.
These three were chosen because they are the backbone of Hausa literature: Ruwan Bagaja captures our imagination and moral adventure, Shehu Umar reflects our history and resilience, and Magana Jari Ce preserves our proverbs, philosophy, and the brilliance of our oral tradition. Together, they form the foundation of our cultural memory and deserve to be brought to life on screen.@AminuSaira@alinuhu@Rahma_sadau@the_davidatta@BashirAhmaad
Gbenga 2027 fantasy is pure delusion I believe with you. But nothing learned from Abacha's

Tinubu Will Be Voted Out in 2027 Election; No Legal Tricks Can Stop It — Gbenga Hashim
A former presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Gbenga Hashim, has said that no legal tricks will hinder the defeat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
Hashim maintained that Nigeria’s multiparty democracy cannot be destroyed by legal or administrative manipulation.
He accused the APC-led Federal Government of deploying institutional and legal strategies aimed at weakening opposition participation ahead of the next election cycle.
Hashim described the alleged actions as part of a worrying trend that threatens the future of democratic competition in the country.
According to the PDP chieftain, recent political developments suggest a deliberate attempt to narrow the democratic space and tilt the playing field in favour of the ruling party.
He warned that such moves mirror past efforts to undermine political pluralism in Nigeria, stressing that similar plots in the past were defeated by the collective resolve of Nigerians.
“We have travelled this road before under Abacha’s dictatorship, and it ended in victory for the forces of genuine democracy, while the plotters of one-man rule were disgraced,” Hashim said.
He maintained that no individual or group, regardless of influence or strategy, could overturn that foundational choice.
“Our founding fathers opted for multiparty democracy, and by the grace of God, that legacy will be preserved. No group, no matter how clever or determined, will succeed in destroying Nigeria’s democratic system,” he stated
Change has always required courage, unity, and sacrifice. As we honor Dr. King, let us draw strength from his example, organize across borders, reject injustice in all its forms, and continue the unfinished struggle for a free, dignified, and #Sovereignty in Africa
Dr. #MartinLutherKingJr dedicated his life to the struggle for justice and human dignity. His message speaks powerfully to #Africa today: oppression does not disappear by silence, and freedom is never handed over—it is demanded.
