When I was Muslim, I used to ask Christians:
“If Jesus was really God, why did He eat, sleep, and bleed like us?”
And honestly, I used to ask it with pride like it was some unbeatable argument.
But later I realized something:
That question was not exposing Christianity.
It was exposing my misunderstanding of what kind of God Jesus claimed to be.
Because the real question is not:
“Why would God become weak?”
The real question is:
“What kind of God would willingly step into human suffering at all?”
Islam taught me about a God who was distant and untouchable.
But Christianity introduced me to a God who stepped into hunger, exhaustion, grief, pain, betrayal, blood, and suffering with us.
And suddenly His humanity stopped feeling like weakness to me.
It became proof of love.
If Jesus ate, it means He came close enough to experience hunger beside us.
If He slept, it means He embraced the exhaustion we carry.
If He bled, it means He did not stand above suffering watching us from a distance.
He entered it Himself.
Philippians 2 says Christ emptied Himself and took on flesh.
Not because He stopped being God, but because He wanted humanity to finally see what God is actually like.
And it turns out God is willing to suffer for the people He loves.
That changed everything for me.
Because every other religion demanded sacrifice from humanity.
Jesus became the sacrifice Himself.
And no prophet in history ever claimed that.
This summer course is online -- you can audit it from anywhere!
Lewis and Schaeffer were the two greatest apologists of the 20th century in terms of the sheer number of people who were either converted or brought through a crisis of faith by their work. Why not learn from the best? In this course, you will learn how to creatively apply their apologetics strategies to the issues of our own day.
What's unique about the course is that we create logic maps for key arguments in Lewis and Schaeffer. Even students who have read these author's books say they see things they never saw before.

Skepticism: A Very Short Introduction, Duncan Pritchard.
Great intro to the problems of skepticism, & a perhaps less successful attempt to address them via virtue theory. Not as much about ancient skepticism as I wanted.

My friend, Bill Scott, visited Nigeria as the Assistant Director of Ratio Christi International. Secular organizations are practicing "the Colonization of Ideas":
"USAID, the EU, the United Nations, and other foreign entities all have agendas. Under the guise of helping people (and sometimes they really do), these globalist entities do their best to miseducate developing populations into transforming their culture into leftism.
In Nigeria, while thousands of Christians are being killed every year, these Western foreign powers see the greatest human rights need as the LGBT and abortion rights issue. Instead of focusing on the blatant human rights violations committed by the Muslim terrorists in Nigeria, programs like UNAIDS found it more pressing to provide condoms and sex lubricants to the gay community in Nigeria. LGBT rights. It was as if the West had forgotten there were Christians being systematically wiped out in Nigeria.
What’s worse? The Western entities hadn’t forgotten about the Muslim atrocities in Nigeria; instead, they flipped the script. In a recent interview on Allie Beth Stuckey’s podcast, Judd Saul, a missionary to persecuted Nigerians, said he pleaded with the Biden administration to intervene, and they were more than dismissive.
Biden’s Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, told Saul that the reason for the Christian deaths was not the heavily armed Islamic terrorists, but rather, climate change was to blame. Indeed, the Biden administration wasted no time in declassifying Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern.”
While Nigerian Christians were being slaughtered, USAID was keen to fund various LGBT initiatives such as plays, parades, and University education programs all over the world. If that doesn’t anger you, USAID did happen to send food to the refugee camps, only for the food trucks to conveniently break down in front of the villages where the Islamic terrorists lived. According to our missionary, Judd Saul, USAID finally delivered large trash bins to the refugee camps. These trash bins collected trash but had no pickup program or follow-up for removal. That’s right, USAID merely donated some bins, which eventually became a heaping pile of garbage.
I’ve come to call these Western programs in developing nations, “The Colonization of Ideas.”

I’ve known about the #Nigerian genocide And how the previous #liberal administration saw LGBTQ and abortion as a greater human rights issue in Nigeria since 2023.
I’m glad these things are getting the public exposure they deserve and hoping @realDonaldTrump fulfills his promise!
I had a great conversation today with the world renowned historian Phillip Jenkins talking about #Islam and North #Africa. Good #apologetics sometimes requires some history!
Check it out!

THINGS ARE ABOUT TO GET INTERESTING IN NEW YORK!
The son of a radical Marxist professor who propagates African Marxism has now become the mayor of New York. Mamdani is cut from a very radical cloth that United States citizens may not be aware of: African Marxist scholarship.
