@Deeper_Banter@soigomaa I start facing the water and wash my face. Then turn my back to the water and wash/condition my hair, shave, wash. Then I take the shower head down to rinse. I'm standing facing away from it the majority of the time.
@theoneTGO@RetroCoast@naomirwolf The problem in buildings like that (any warehouse, really) , is that the sprinklers sit so high off the ground that the fire has to get big enough to trigger them. At that point, the fire is harder to suppress as it turns the water into steam.
@LoranneBrown@Bennieeexyz A sibling once put those little flower shaped butter cookies on the spindles of the cassette player in our stereo (it was the 80s). The crumbs never came out.

Before I lost my hearing, I didn't realize how much you get thrown off with just one side gone.
@zajanatural@106th@skinclasshero I lost all hearing in my left ear a few years ago. Hearing aids wouldn't help so I have a cochlear implant, but before that it wasn't obvious that I couldn't hear on that side. I masked well most of the time, but someone in the back seat would be a challenge for me.
@notcapnamerica They don't feel the weight of it the way you would if you did it. They simply make the choice that works for them at the moment and move on without a second thought.
@SofiSkywalker@_garrettcharles One Life To Live moved their entire town into a cave for summer sweeps, so I imagine the writers could think of something.
@talleyberrybaby I wasn't showing the proper company values (list of 10), when I politely explained to a new coworker that I also had other job responsibilities. They emailed at 9 pm. on a Sat and 10 am. on Sunday to follow up on my lack of response.
