I don't care what it does. But studios have forgotten how to create movies with hooks.
The markerting for this movie is the same as marketing for other IP movies.
"You like He-Man? Go see it".
That's not enough. And He-Man's predicament of being on Earth & having amnesia is not a hook. It is more like Thor, an excuse to cut the budget.
The reverse might have been a better hook. A kid from earth somehow enters the world of He-Man.
The movie needed to be like Mario & Barbie, a movie giving the audience a look into a great, fun new world.
Disney/Lucasfilm retards used to act like they didn't care about flops and underperformance. But the profits are so low now, it will reduce budgets and reduce projects.
Wokeism and blue hairs killed production jobs, acting jobs. The Disney CEOs are losing millions a year in bonuses.
They care now. And there's nothing they can do to fix it.
