Before the Iran war began, Trump received repeated warnings.
Then-DNI Tulsi Gabbard cautioned that killing Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei could bring a more hard-line regime open to acquiring nuclear weapons, close the Strait of Hormuz and trigger attacks on U.S. forces and allies.
JD Vance urged giving diplomacy more time, while top military leaders warned of casualties, weapons-stockpile concerns and readiness strains.
At the same time, Benjamin Netanyahu and senior Trump aides argued that Iran was at its weakest point in decades.
Trump proceeded with the attack despite the warnings.

🇵🇰 Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed criticized Pakistan’s military “dictatorship” Sunday, saying “democracy is not being allowed to take its place.”

El-Sayed drew a parallel to Egypt, where his parents immigrated from, citing its history of military dictatorship and arguing that neither government should be shielded from criticism, or receive US aid, simply because they are U.S. allies.
Former Colombian President Petro:

No honorable man or woman in Colombia can accept applauding the genocide.
Canadian Premier Kinew on Trump:
Very wise people have said "you can't get a good deal with a bad person", and I think that rule applies here.
President Trump is the reason we're all paying so much at the gas pump right now because of his misguided war in Iran.
Trump is escalating a trade war with Canada for his own vanity. Even before this new round, Canadian tariffs were costing Michigan families an additional $3,200 a year. It’s going to get much worse. And *just like* the Gordie Howe Bridge, @MikeRogersforMI will rubber stamp it. Because he’s a sock puppet who will do whatever Trump wants, no matter what it costs you.
