टीटीई जितेंद्र मिश्रा ट्रेन में टिकट चेक कर रहे थे।

एक युवक बिना टिकट मिला। आँखों में आँसू थे। पूछने पर बोला
साहब, होटल वाले ने मारपीट करके नौकरी से निकाल दिया। गाँव जाना है, लेकिन टिकट के पैसे नहीं हैं। माफ कर दीजिए।

नियम तो कहता है कि जुर्माना लगाया जाए।

लेकिन मिश्रा जी ने इंसानियत दिखाई।

उन्होंने पहले उसे खाना खिलाया, फिर अपनी जेब से टिकट बनवाया और जाते-जाते ₹200 भी दे दिए।

वर्दी तो बहुत लोग पहनते हैं, लेकिन वर्दी में इंसानियत निभाने वाले बहुत कम होते हैं। 🙏

That's 1,000 people getting jobs.
That's 1000 students getting educated.
Money invested in the future instead of more bombs & endless war.

Americans across this country and our city have watched prices rise at the pump and the grocery store, their budgets strained by a conflict launched without a single vote of Congress.

Every life lost abroad and every dollar squeezed from a working family here is part of the same reckless bill, handed to the people who could least afford it by those who will never pay it themselves.

I opposed this war from the first day. I oppose it still. It must end.
