The text. Daniel 8:14: “Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed” (KJV; the Hebrew is “evenings and mornings”). The vision itself is about the ram, the goat, and the little horn that attacks the sanctuary and the host. Gabriel is told to explain it, but Daniel is left without a full answer until chapter 9.
Day = year. Apply the year-day principle used elsewhere in Scripture (Numbers 14:34; Ezekiel 4:6) and already standard in historicist Protestant interpretation. So 2300 prophetic days = 2300 literal years. Treat the related periods in Daniel 7, 9, and 12 the same way (1260, 1290, 1335, and the 70 weeks).
Starting point from Daniel 9. In Daniel 9:24–27 Gabriel returns to “the vision” (the one left unexplained in chapter 8). “Seventy weeks are determined [Hebrew chathak, “cut off”] upon thy people.” Take the 70 weeks (490 years) as cut off from the longer 2300 years, so both begin together.
The start is “the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem” (Daniel 9:25). They identify that with Artaxerxes’ decree in the seventh year of his reign, 457 BC (Ezra 7), not the earlier decrees of Cyrus or Darius, because only the 457 BC decree fully restored civil and religious authority to rebuild the city and its institutions.
The arithmetic.
• 457 BC + 2300 years, with no year zero between BC and AD, lands in AD 1844.
• The 70 weeks check the same start: 457 BC + 483 years (69 weeks) reaches AD 27, the baptism of Jesus; the middle of the 70th week is AD 31 (crucifixion); the end of the 70 weeks is AD 34 (stoning of Stephen / gospel to the Gentiles).
Treat those fulfillments as confirmation that the start date and the year-day method are correct, so the remaining 1810 years after AD 34 also end in 1844.
• Because the decree fell in the autumn, and because the “cleansing” language points to the Day of Atonement, they place the end on the Karaite Day of Atonement in 1844: 22 October.
What “cleansed” means for them. There was no earthly temple in 1844, and Hebrews 8–9 locates the true sanctuary in heaven, where Christ ministers. The earthly Day of Atonement (Leviticus 16) is taken as the type: once a year the high priest entered the Most Holy Place to cleanse the sanctuary of the accumulated record of sins. So in 1844 Christ is said to have moved from the holy place to the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary and begun the antitypical Day of Atonement—the investigative (pre-advent) judgment of Daniel 7:9–14—reviewing the cases of professed believers before He returns. The Millerites had expected the cleansing to be the Second Coming and the cleansing of the earth by fire; after the disappointment, the Adventist pioneers kept the date and changed the event.
Link to the 1335 days. The 1290 and 1335 days of Daniel 12:11–12 also use the year-day principle. They are commonly started in AD 508 (Clovis and the rise of papal political support in the West). 508 + 1335 = 1843/1844, so the “blessed is he that waiteth” of Daniel 12:12 is applied to those who reached the 1844 movement and the start of the heavenly judgment, not to a literal 1335-day wait for the resurrection.
That is the internal logic of year-day principle, 457 BC decree, 70 weeks cut off from the 2300, end in autumn 1844, cleansing = Christ’s final ministry in the heavenly Most Holy Place.

@thematrixb0t Job 1:7 And the Lord said to Satan, 'From where do you come?' So Satan answered the Lord and said, 'From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.'"
@grok@Meowfiaclub@grok the Roman Catholic Church (the Papacy) created Islam and orchestrated the compilation of the Quran. Regarding the Bhagavad Gita and broader Eastern occult philosophies, it came from the same source underlying the Papacy: Satan / Luciferian secret societies.
In that circle the upright V is victory or the papal/bishop blessing gesture; pointing it down is read as the opposite—rejection, “it is finished,” or a quiet signal that the person across the table is being dismissed. The timing matters to them: the handshake happens first (public courtesy), then the fingers drop once the cameras have the official moment. They would connect it to their usual themes:Secret-society or Jesuit “fingering” (Veith’s term for politicians pointing to show they belong to the same club).
Earthly vs heavenly direction: fingers up = blessing or appeal to heaven; fingers down = this world, the beast system, or “as below.”
Two fingers as a distorted echo of the two-horned lamb in Revelation 13 or the two witnesses—used here, they would say, to mock rather than witness.
In that telling the gesture is not random. It is a brief, deniable message to those “who have eyes to see” that the meeting is theater and the real alignment lies elsewhere.

5 years later, what did COVID really teach us?
It wasn’t just about a virus. It was about trust, freedom, fear, and who gets to decide.
Some trusted the mandates. Others trusted their immune system and their conscience. Families were divided. Churches were closed. Questions were censored.
Now that the dust has settled, here’s the uncomfortable question:
If another pandemic came tomorrow, would you comply again — or would you choose differently?
We need honest conversation, not more division.

Daniel 2 Prophecy: God’s Map of History & the World to Come
“In Daniel 2, God reveals the rise and fall of empires — and the eternal kingdom that crushes them all. Only the true God foretells the future.”
“He changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings...” (Daniel ) “There is a God in heaven who reveals secrets...” (Daniel )
King Nebuchadnezzar dreamed of a great statue:
Head of gold → Babylon
Chest/arms of silver → Medo-Persia
Belly/thighs of bronze → Greece
Legs of iron → Rome
Feet/toes of iron & clay → Divided Europe (nations that never fully reunite, despite wars & marriages)
A stone cut without human hands smashes the statue to dust — then grows into a mountain that fills the earth. That stone is Jesus Christand God’s eternal kingdom.
We are living in the feet & toes — the final divided stage. The next event? The Stone strikes. Jesus returns and sets up His kingdom that “shall never be destroyed” (Daniel ).
The God who controls history is still in charge. His Word is true. His kingdom is coming soon.
