@ManningsColts91@AdamofUpminster@sophielouisecc You're just copy/pasting answers from AI. My point is that London/Khan have no powers independent of the UK. And yes, a.10 is not absolute. But neither are US free speech rights (or any human rights) - I say this as a lawyer, not someone who asked chatgpt 5 mins ago
@ManningsColts91@AdamofUpminster@sophielouisecc London is lovely to live in and doing great by any objective metric. But even if that weren't the case, Khan has zero authority over the two points you raise: immigration or free speech. Do you have any basis to argue to the contrary?
@ManningsColts91@AdamofUpminster@sophielouisecc Your reply and linked article directly responded to the part of my tweet where I mentioned "fraction". I said that homicide rates were a fraction of US rates. Your article has nothing to do with homicides. I'm not sure how I can be clearer, but let me know if you need crayons.
@ManningsColts91@AdamofUpminster@sophielouisecc You sound terminally online. I replied with facts/experiences as an actual London resident. I'm a wealthy white English Christian in finance; I mention only to point out how bonkers it is to label moderate disagreement as "radicalized" "communism".
@ManningsColts91@AdamofUpminster@sophielouisecc I said a fraction of homicide rates: per capita, the UK is about 1/4 of the US's rate. The article you link is entirely unrelated. Your other replies are equally redundant, but I'll respond separately regardless.
@ManningsColts91@AdamofUpminster@sophielouisecc Khan has no influence on hate crime prosecution, London is far from "overrun with illegals", crime is falling, homicide remains a fraction of US rates, it continues to top tables of best global cities to live. Listen to those who live here, not boosted X accounts.
@sophielouisecc@sophielouisecc Because they both happen to be Muslim? The most overtly racist post on this topic I've seen in a crowded field. Not a Khan worshipper at all, but as a Christian in a London I continue to love, he's broadly been a success on every objective metric.
@F_FantasyHub A lot of people going for it and I understand why, but canโt help but feel a move from MCL is a bit knee-jerk. Without a rare Baku mad moment and the sprint DNFs, MCL๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝd be miles ahead last 4 races, and remain only team youโd bet on having 2 in the top 5.
@F1FantasyEuan My first missed deadline of the season turned out lucky-ish, should still be top 500 global: retained Max w DRS, avoided MCL DNFs for drivers, Sainz DNF shared by 92% of Global 500, and Albon/Hdj/Merc should pump up overtake points
@FanAmpFantasyHQ I made the slightly more mundane decision to use FF to swap out Antonelli for Albon in a bid to move up from 480th globally - by my calculation i gained a huge 2-3 points when overtakes are final
@F1FantasyEuan Up to 540th overall, 2nd weekend dodging DNFs (ditched Hulk, Alonso and AM this week, so I'm not too dispirited using a Wildcard I suspected would be wasted). Budget only $123.2m, so expecting 4A meta to wipe me from here!
@waitrose the new Duchyโs packaging is baffling. Next to the No. 1 Range on the meat shelf, Duchyโs looks cheaper than Essentials. The milk all looks like budget semi-skimmed. Everyone in store thought the same, staff muttered agreement.
