@aibytekat How about interviewers stop asking stupid, sneaky questions in an intention to manipulate an outcome.
Ask real questions and then dig for real answers.
I voted against the rule to bring this omnibus forward for a vote.
Here is a breakdown of some of the most ridiculous items included in the omnibus, and some America First items that were not. I offered amendments to correct these errors—all of which were blocked or refused🧵:
If the Second Amendment does not apply to this exact kind of moment, what do people think it is for?
A citizen can lawfully carry, see masked federal agents beating someone in public, move toward the scene to help, and then get erased with a hail of bullets because “he had a gun.”
That excuse is an insult in a country where possession is legal by design, where the whole point is that the public never becomes a disarmed audience watching state power operate with impunity.
I’m not interested in arguing frame-by-frame footage. I’m interested in the principle that a free people cannot accept a standard where lawful carry becomes a death sentence the second authority feels threatened.
If that is the standard, then the 2nd Amendment has been reduced to a vibe. The founders did not write it so Republicans could do militia cosplay on weekends.
Our county is an absolute mess. And just like the Nephites in the @thebookofmormon, our pride keeps us from turning to God, keeping his commandments, and being blessed.

@Eternal_Saints_ The answer is local zoning regulation that greatly restricts the supply. Of course, there are may additional problems that make up a small amounts, but the #1 reason has been, and is, local zoning regulations.

So, yeah…
Look, he was a brutal dictator. His elections were a farce, and he brutally cracked down on anyone who opposed him.
I was excited to see him taken down. It's an objectively good thing that he's no longer in power.
The problem is, whenever we do this kind of regime change, the puppet government we replace him with proves powerless (or unwilling) to stop the rise of terrorists and criminals that truly take over the country.
Chaos and destabilization ensue, which often leads to people fleeing to the US and other countries as refugees in even greater numbers.
Over time, we discover that the reasons we were told that removing him was necessary were exaggerations and outright lies, and that the real reasons had more to do with access to oil, toppling a government that wasn't part of the petrodollar system, and expanding global domination.
We also discover that our own intelligence and enforcement agencies helped give rise to the terrorists and criminals who took over on the streets. Blowback from that in the future is all but assured.
If we put boots on the ground, we're now risking the lives of our loved ones, not to mention all the innocent civilians who will die. All over something we should've never stuck our noses into.
The American taxpayer gets stuck with the bill, and the only people who truly benefit are oil companies, defense contractors, and central bankers.
And that's why I was wrong to support the overthrow of Saddam Hussein in 2003.
Picture unrelated.
