Hi X, this is my submission of a project I was working on for the past month :)
A linear clock. It’s not practical, I have one component that overheats due to partially shorting it, it’s a bit louder than a normal clock and it can skip a couple of minutes a day, but it is the first time I actually built something by myself.
I liked how https://t.co/gFg3zg7kFN enables you to talk with someone about your project, getting clear instructions on how to do it. It really helped me along the way.
Estimated cost of the build is $170. I tried to make use of as many already-owned parts as possible, also the reason why both towers of the clock are not the same height.
It was a great learning experience and I already have so many new ideas I want to try for this exact build.
Thank you @tryblueprint_io for making this opportunity possible.
Super excited to announce @tryblueprint_io is partnering with @fearn_ai to give over $13,300 in prizes for our summer build contest.
If you're a founder or engineer this is the perfect opportunity to make that hardware product you've been thinking about.
Winners get 3D printers, compute boards, and the opportunity to patent their hardware idea for free!

Today we’re introducing Claude for hardware founders & engineers.
Just enter your idea and Blueprint gives you everything you need to bring it to life; full parts list, sourcing options, wiring schematics, and CAD generation.
This is seriously insane.
We're giving away over $13,300 in prizes by hosting the largest online hardware hackathon this August.
All you need to do is design a project on blueprint, build it, and post a 10-20 second demo video.

Submissions close August 24th.
It's time to build!
I'm giving away $3,800 in 3D printers and compute boards.
All you need to do is build a hardware project using blueprint and post a demo.

Today we're introducing Claude for Hardware.
Just enter your hardware idea and Blueprint gives you an entire hardware plan for your build.
What becomes possible now is insane.
Hardware engineers spend 80% of their time reading datasheets and 20% actually building.
We're flipping that.
Introducing https://t.co/cX95N85xfV, Claude Code but for Hardware.
