Have you ever thought about the Pokémon definition of a “poacher”? It's basically just a dystopian corporate monopoly.
In the lore, you are branded a poacher simply for using nets, traps, or cages instead of a Poké Ball.
The entire system is a massive "Big Brother" compliance checkpoint:
• The Tech Monopoly: The law basically mandates that you must use patented corporate technology to legally interact with wildlife.
• The Global Registry: The real crime isn't the catch itself—it is dodging the database. Poké Balls automatically tag every capture to a centralized Trainer ID grid. Catching a Pokémon with a net keeps it completely untraceable and off the books.
• The Safari Loophole: People claim poachers are criminals because they over-hunt, but Ash caught an entire herd of 30 Tauros in a single afternoon. Because he paid a corporate entrance fee and used officially licensed Safari Balls, it was perfectly legal.
The Pokémon League just wants absolute regulatory control over a heavily monetized digital capture grid.
watched some tom and jerry for the first time since I was a kid, it seems jerry is actually a complete asshole.
tom just wants to clean the house and be productive, what is jerry's problem?
moving out at 18 was possible even like 10 yrs ago, I did it and didn't even work full time
my first apartment was 450 and I could pay for a used car, food, and all the beer and ciggies I needed

Once you have a 'Digital ID app' on your phone you will be trapped. You will become dependent on the app. Then the government will slowly change it so it requires more and more permissions to access everything on your phone. Then it will report you for installing a VPN.
My 24-year-old friend has applied to 847 jobs in the last year.
She’s been tracking it in a spreadsheet.
She has a bachelor’s degree. A 3.8 GPA.
Two internships.
She’s gotten 12 interviews.
Three rejection emails.
The rest? Silence.
“Entry-level” jobs require 3-5 years of experience.“Competitive salary” means $35k in a city where rent is $1,800.
She’s living with her parents and working at Starbucks.
Her degree cost $80,000.
The system isn’t broken. It’s working exactly as designed.
Just not for her.
WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game went hard. My brother @BlondetanamoBay helped me make a video showcasing some of the game's crazy combos. This was the first game I wrote an FAQ for back in the day.
