@EzhmaarSul The Ewoks don't keep me from loving this film, but they're easily my least favorite part of it (right above Boba going out like a silly cartoon henchman).
I sadly believe any world where Star Wars was managed well is probably worse off. It was a canary in the coal mine, the thing that woke many people up to how progressives were beginning to cannibalize culture. It was a painful shock that made people see all the gay pride, trans kids, girlboss stuff.
People only noticed because it was Star Wars. This monolith killed by Hollywood's cultural devolution.
So, while I miss good Star Wars and good video games... I can appreciate how Kathy Kennedy and Anita Sarkeesian have forced people to hate evil things again.
I think the funniest thing about Star Wars prequel discourse is that critical fans have somehow convinced themselves that socially awkward people absolutely sound like that when they're trying to be romantic. Joss Whedon doesn't write your dms, I know you sound like dorks.
