Hard truth…
I can speak freely because I’m 65 years old and my pocketful of fucks is seriously depleted.
Working as a paralegal at various studios in LA for thirty years…I had the opportunity to observe studio executives closely.
They’re generally a slippery and clueless bunch who shouldn’t be allowed near anything remotely creative…but the new regime at Paramount is straight up evil.
I assure you.
These soulless bastards have nothing but contempt for a show about grace and redemption and the struggle against fascism.
ATLA is a mystery to them.
They. Do. Not. Value. The. Franchise.
@3_5_7_13 It made sense for him to be in Ahsoka and Obi-Wan. Like you said, the idea of him being over exposed and shoehorned into everything is something purely dreamt up by fans who just wanna hate without thinking about it.
Can I be honest? Putting Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Zero Company makes COMPLETE sense, as it's a Clone Wars Era game and Anakin was THE HERO OF THE CLONE WARS. And yet, I can guarantee I'll see fans hating on this because SW fans can't enjoy nice things. SAD!
@3_5_7_13 Has he really been in everything? Everything's he been in has made 100% sense. He hasn't felt shoehorned into anything he's been included in.
@Jamie4298164821@AntonioVirgoli4@Woodlandbuckle Yeah, Saiyans value strength above all else. I don't see the problem? King Vegeta wanted the same for his son too. Is he a good guy too? Also, how is Super Bardock "soft and good?"
of this series so far, no contest. Kid Eternity is more interesting than ever. The Spectre plot is next to nothing the best thing this series has done.
BUT WHERE IS THE PROMISED HAWKMAN & HAWKWOMAN & HAWKGIRL PLOTLINE?!?!??
JSA #20 was, without a doubt, very exciting and very cool. It really seems like all the jumping back and forth between characters and never really choosing a handful of characters to focus on is really paying off. It was difficult along the way, but it was worth it. This issue
was simply amazing. Tons of great art, coloring was great. It was good.
The actual story is where this issue grabbed me. The tension is just amazing. The pacing is amazing. The dialogue is amazing. The dynamics between characters feel so natural and real. This is the best issue
I've tried to overlook it, but every time it's shoved in my face I just can't stand to see Krypto as Supergirl's dog. It just sucks and takes away such a special part of the charm of Krypto from the Superman comics. It's still extremely lame.
Batman #10 was enjoyable, but also a bit too corny for my liking. Don't get me wrong, I like a certain amount of corny, but this just leaned a bit too heavily into it for too long. It almost felt like this issue was patting itself on the back. I'm more interested in the actual
story they're telling. I wanna know more about this Vandal Savage story. I wanna see more of the Joker. I like that we're getting Bruce and stories about him and the company. That's all great. But this issue was just setup for a new Bat Signal, the dialogue with all the Batfamily
@912151222og@WaddaBoddles@punishedindeed Dave also wrote every episode of Tales of the Jedi and that was great. Say what you want, he knows animation and is great at it. You can't take that away from him.
@912151222og@WaddaBoddles@punishedindeed You're wrong on so many levels. Watch any interview with the cast and crew. He's rhe creator. He oversaw development of the show, then went off to work on ahsoka s2. A lot of work was done by Athena, Brad, and Matt, but Dave was still deeply involved. Athena said it's his vision
