just taught the guy i'm dating about how his outer world is a reflection of his inner state and now he no longer gets upset about the people and things that trigger him and instead he sees them for the gifts that they are he is so cute i love him sm
Mercury with Saturn makes the mercurial more level-headed and mature, capable of thinking thoroughly and writing eloquently. But Mercury with Rahu is like an agent of chaos... like a devil with a helper
I did a reading for a person who wasn't sure if they should end a relationship, and I began to talk about how they had fought over money (a specific type of situation). Then they began to share about the reasoning behind the money problem, and we had a good conversation
The best part of a Tarot reading is when you finish and the querent begins opening up about the same exact situation you were talking about. Priceless, and especially inspiring when you're doing in-person readings. The energy alignment is something else
Men will put themselves and their goals first before most of their relationships - and women should do the same. Men love selfish women for this very reason
Emotional Regulation is probably the soft skill that pays the most dividends. Like imagine if you had the ability to pause and defuse feelings of rage/anger/resentment before crashing out. You need that in every part of your life
a really important note i would offer those interested in astrology is that you have to leave room for your life to breathe, for things to happen at their own time. you have to leave space for life to surprise you.
@amandaeobrien@jacobandreou probably not economy wise or politically (it's one of the worst imo), but perhaps in terms of technology, the amount of information we now have, the web, and all :D
Life is fucking electric bro. Don’t fall for the doomer shit. That’s for losers and normies scared of their own shadows. Walk around like God sent you and smile at everyone you see. Spread light and abundance. Build things and take chances. This is the best time in history!
@thejhambs There's a good book on this by Tasha Eurich called Self Awareness which makes a point about how people can sometimes know you better than you do, but imo it's also a matter of how to bring your strengths forward so that people don't see you one-dimensionally
false imo, some people don't know how to market or manage their personal branding, which is why other people are not able to see their talents. The key to this is to proactively control your personal brand, because you have a brand/reputation whether or not you're aware of it
I’m going to say something uncharitable: people’s gifts are actually recognized quickly by those around them
for example: extremely beautiful women who have a chip on their shoulder bc people “only see them as pretty” and not smart….simply aren’t that smart.
it seems that op's thread goes off on a different direction (influencers who plagiarize and steal ideas/plagiarize are dumb), which i agree with though. but just because people don't recognize your talent doesn't mean it's not there - maybe you need to bring it out more
There are a lot of pretty and smart girls, but not enough of them highlight their intelligence enough to others, hence others attempt to discredit them. Just because others think you're not actually that smart doesn't mean it isn't there - maybe you just need to show it off more
