No one is more negative about South Africa than South Africans. It’s actually so sad 💔
In my recent travels to India I found myself in conversation with some of the locals and was genuinely taken aback by how positive and proud of their country they were - that time, the whole city is chaotic, infrastructure is run-down, there is no such thing as traffic control, it’s pouring with monsoon-like rain and the streets are flooded - water is waist high in the CBD but the people were upbeat!
I can only imagine how far we could be if we just started by changing our self-narrative.
