It’s heartbreaking to see ADOR and HYBE put Hanni’s birthday playlist behind a paywall.

Hanni has always gifted us playlists on her birthday. It’s one of the ways she expresses her love to Bunnies. It’s practically her love language. What started with a simple letter and playlist in 2022 became a little tradition that Hanni and Bunnies shared every year.

And now, that gift is being turned into paid, exclusive content for Weverse subscribers. (What’s sick is they probably know that no real Bunnie would be subscribed to Weverse.)

I can’t help but feel like this is another attempt to create distance between the girls and Bunnies. They know how meaningful these little traditions are to us, and yet they’ve taken something that was freely shared as an expression of Hanni’s love and locked it behind a subscription.

It’s not really about a playlist. It’s about what that playlist represents.

Hanni chose to share a little piece of herself with Bunnies every year. That was her gift to us. It hurts to see something so personal and meaningful turned into another piece of money-making exclusive content that fans have to pay to access.
