When people discuss the all-time great running backs in the NFL, I never hear anyone give Curtis Martin the respect he deserves. He wasn’t the flashiest of his era, but he was one of the most efficient we’ve ever seen.
- 6th All-Time Rushing Leader
- 5× Pro Bowl selection (1995, 1996, 1998, 2001, 2004)
- 2× First-team All-Pro (2001, 2004)
- Hall of Fame Class of 2012
- 10 straight 1000-yard seasons (tied w/ B. Sanders)
I see a lot of Jets fans making assumptions about the team, David Bailey, the oline, 7on7 stats, etc.
Can we please remember that it is DAY 2 of camp? Players have good days and bad days. There’s a reason why camp starts 6 weeks before the first game.
I love the buzz that came out of today’s practice on Bailey. It’s awesome for a rookie to come in early and make his mark, but this won’t be an everyday thing. A time will come where he may be nonexistent in practice, and that’s ok. Also, don’t see this and start assuming that the offensive line is regressing…ITS DAY 2
As far as the 7on7 stat lines for Geno and Cade, this is also not worth putting much thought into. It’s a completely different environment when the pads come on. Just because Cade goes 10-10 one day doesn’t mean he’s going to start by week 2.
Don’t fall for the engagement bait during this time of the offseason. What you hear out of camp now has very little impact on how the season will go.
@On3@TimVerghese Depends on how you look at it. As far as the game itself goes it’s great, but the state of the NCAA and constant ineffective legislation shows that there is are big issues behind the scenes.
