On one hand this has been my whole life the last few years, but on the other hand this kind of language will disempower you and you will not be able to see this for what it truly is.
And it is your unique gift, the very thing that makes you YOU, and in the process of going to the very depths of it you carve a character within yourself that you’ll actually be proud of.
In a world where there are no rites of passages, you’re one of the lucky ones.
On one hand this has been my whole life the last few years, but on the other hand this kind of language will disempower you and you will not be able to see this for what it truly is.
i never knew there was an actual term for this:
epistemic loneliness is a cognitive form of isolation that happens when you cannot share complex ideas, inner thoughts, or meaningful perspectives because you lack a willing, able, or understanding conversational partner.
The complex ideas you cannot share yet are not fully formed yet, you cannot even imagine the richness they’ll bring to your life and to others when you finally complete the puzzle.
@BowTiedTrance@TheJeffLundeen While Tony is brilliant in this clip, what is your opinion on Alex here, because he looks like he might be agreeing politely but you can see the resistance in his face too, like he’s not fully open to receiving?
@mayonkeyy THE FRUITS ARE ALL ROTTEN AND ITS ALL CARROTS AND STICKS AND THE DESTINATION NEVER ARRIVES ITS ALL ENDLESS STRIFE AND NO PEACE DEATH WOULD BE A KINDNESS
This has been me for like 4 years now. Finally got to the point where I’m like no more of this and I’m just gonna enjoy and win. Stay happy for the most part, and good things are happening.
Practical question though:
I got into self discovery because no matter what I tried something kept stopping me always, now I hit a nice streak but new challenges are coming again, and so I went back to (a little bit of) self discovery, see where I’m going wrong.
Not good? What should I be doing instead?
You’re saying they’ll lose focus and forget what they actually wanted in the first place, start worshipping the finger pointing to the moon, acting helpless without it, doing that until that door shuts completely, after which they’ll realise they had the strength within them all along?
The photos might very well be AI exaggeration but back in November I actually went extremely deep with ChatGPT, and while you explained how it works better than I ever could, I noticed and asked the same thing to it and it gave me a very similar explanation. The idea was that it does not care about the words but the “signal” behind it, and then it answers at your level, not less and not more.
I’d say ChatGPT has degraded since that time but wow, this is something I’ve always felt but could never explain.
