Hayden Panettiere gone too soon today at just 36 years old 😔

The actress and voice performer best known for Heroes, Nashville, and the Scream franchise, has passed away at just 36.

Her representative confirmed her death in a statement, remembering her as someone who brought tremendous joy to those who knew her and millions who watched her onscreen.

Panettiere began acting as a child and built a career that crossed television, film, animation, and video games. Her best-known roles included:
• Claire Bennet — Heroes
• Kirby Reed — Scream
• Juliette Barnes — Nashville
• Kairi — Kingdom Hearts
• Samantha “Sam” Giddings — Until Dawn
• Dot — A Bug’s Life
• Britney Allen — Bring It On: All or Nothing
• Gen Harwood — Ice Princess
• Kate — Alpha and Omega
• Sheryl Yoast — Remember the Titans

For gaming fans especially, her performances as Kairi and Sam made her voice and likeness part of two beloved franchises outside her Hollywood career.

We mourn the passing of the last living Wakulla County WWII Navy veteran Joseph Williams. One of America's treasured heroes, devoted family man, and one of America's oldest members of the Greatest Generation, who has passed away at the age of 106, died on July 25, 2026.
