@Skol__Minnesota Guns N’ Roses with Axel in a kilt and cast on his foot! Aerosmith with Steven Tyler making some mouth and squeeze me gestures in the Budweiser Box.
I went on Vista Fleet cruise in Duluth for the first time in 30+ yrs. Probably best "tourist" activity in the city also so worth it for veteran north shore visitors. The sightseeing tour is incredibly informative abt stuff you've been lookin at forever. Totally engaged for 2 hrs
Famous Woolworth Ice-Box Cheesecake recipe 😋
No oven. No baking. This is the cheesecake that used to be served at Woolworth lunch counters and people have been making it at home ever since.
FAMOUS WOOLWORTH ICE-BOX CHEESECAKE 🍋
- Lemon Jell-O (3 oz)
- Boiling water (1 cup)
- Cream cheese (8 oz)
- Sugar (1 cup)
- Lemon juice (4 Tbsp)
- Evaporated milk (12 oz)
- Graham crackers (1½ cups)
- Butter, melted (⅓ cup)
Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Let cool to room temperature. Beat cream cheese, sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Whip the well-chilled evaporated milk in a separate bowl until fluffy. Fold cream cheese mixture into whipped milk, then fold in cooled Jell-O. Press graham cracker crust into a 9x13 dish. Pour filling over crust. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
Light, creamy, lemon all the way through. Slices clean right out of the dish.
My friend just texted me this. Sounds delicious
#ChickenLimone Crispy chicken, butter, lemon, and a little patience. That’s it. Simple ingredients, done right, always win.
And yes, this is the recipe everyone’s been asking for 🔥 https://t.co/DyaIdleT7N
My advice to people: Shut the social media off.
Not forever — just give yourself a break.
An hour is fine. Two hours, okay.
Eight hours is too much and you know it.
-Read a book.
-Watch a YouTube lecture.
-Do something that actually fills you up.
And here's the other thing, doubting yourself and feeling pressure is normal.
Take a breath. It doesn't mean something is wrong with you.
But you have to manifest and get yourself into the right mindset.
Read about positive actualization. Think big.
Do it consistently and over time things start to shift in ways that surprise you.
The first person you have to believe in is yourself and when you start projecting that confidence it becomes habitual.
That's when everything changes.
It is okay …
to wear old clothes
to not upgrade your phone
to buy second-hand items
to live in a simple home
to read older books
to enjoy home cooking
to travel to unknown locations
to earn a living doing what you love
to be an introvert
it is okay to live a simpler life.
