Yesterday, we got AZ registration for our two new products! First we have DuraCor, a great broadleaf weed killer in pastures. Second we have TerraVue, I see this being a huge fit in a VM, total vegetation control area for weeds and brush. @CortevaPastures@CortevaVegMgmt
Catch me on the schedule for the @AZNurseryAssoc Southwest Horticulture Annual Day of Education (SHADE). Looking forward to sharing some herbicide info and talking about some new herbicide technologies. @CortevaUSTurf
Not a lot of broadleaf weed spraying in pasture in my territory. Today I saw a pasture that was sprayed a few weeks ago with DuraCor herbicide. Was pleased to see how good it did taking out large buffalo burr in SW NM! @CortevaPastures#growinggrassandkicking π΅π±πΎ
@rwp_3@CortevaPastures Thanks @rwp_3! That means something coming from you. I am pretty happy with the level of mortality we have came to expect out here in the desert. π
Spraying some mesquite in SW NM. The very airport we are at is responsible for the invasion of African Rue back in WW2 planes brought this noxious weed to NM. Also, note the picture of mesquite growing inside the African Rue, π€¦π»ββοΈ π΅π±βοΈ
Invasive species can be a source of fuel for wildland fires. Sources close to the Sawtooth fire in AZ have said that Globe Chamomile (Stinknet)was an increaser in the fires intital start. Stinknet and other non natives need to be controlled to keep our fires where they should be
@YardFreako @CortevaPastures Mesquite isnβt easy to kill by any means. It can be done and in the evolution of herbicides and technology used, weβve came a long ways. Itβs all about timing, ground and air temp, minimal ground and forage disturbance, & mesquite conditions. https://t.co/oOtFuSY8EF π
Better late than never. This was a picture I took two weeks ago of a ranch, east of Roswell, NM that we sprayed in the summer of 2019. This was sprayed with Sendero (28oz) and Remedy Ultra (8oz). Roughly counted 95% or more mortality. @CortevaPastures π΅π±
@captjonestime@motreadwell Sometimes you need the extra punch when it comes to western honey mesquite or torreyanna mesquite in the trans pecos area of Texas and NM and even velvet mesquite in AZ.
Checking out a mesquite job done 8 days ago. Sendero + Tordon 22k. As you can see here, the boundaries are pretty defined. Left side of the road not treated. Right side sprayed with a helicopter. π π΅π±π @CortevaPastures
GameOn herbicide on oxalis 6 days after treatment (DAT). Completely gone in 2 weeks. Non treated on the left, 6 DAT @ 3.5 pts/acre on the right! π±β³οΈβΎοΈπ₯πβ½οΈποΈββοΈ@CortevaUSTurf
