And this is exactly why I didn’t want Juan Soto on the #Dodgers. Soto is a generational hitter and will bring lots of runs/incredible moments to the #Mets and their fans, there’s no doubt about it. But rn, he’s a defensive liability in the OF and not worth the price IMO.

@histino I’ll take Shohei’s offense and the fact he’ll be an above average to elite pitcher for the next 5+ years over someone who should NOT have been a finalist for a Gold Glove in the OF for 2024. Good on Soto for getting his payday; just happy it’s not the Dodgers picking up the tab
