In (technical) high school, I made a deal with my very cool gr language and literature teacher to leave me alone and give me a passing grade so I could focus on Turbo Pascal and COBOL. She agreed as long as I got perfect scores in both. I did. But you're right, I eventually had to play catch-up.

For Greece it's the ecosystem. WooCommerce is the default choice basically. There's no Shopify ecosystem around here.

I discovered something weird when I looked at which is the leading ecommerce platform in the world's 25 biggest markets - WooCommerce leads the non-English speaking world, and Shopify leads in English speaking countries.

Remember ExpressionEngine? Had this 1.6.x project from 2010 sitting quietly on a server running PHP 5.6. Took it down the other day because of the whole PHP thing. Just for a laugh I gave it to Claude to see if it could migrate it to EE 7.x. It did. In 30 minutes.

My Lenovo P16s Gen2 screen folds all the way back to 180 degrees and it's the only ergonomic way to use its touch screen. Mostly on a standing desk with my partner where we both tap and draw things on it. Other than that, it's useless.
