ABSA RAISES MINIMUM WAGE

Absa Bank has increased its minimum monthly pay to R20,833, making it one of the leaders in fair wages among South African banks.

This change, highlighted in its annual report, raises the annual minimum salary to R250,000, reflecting an 8.7% increase. While competitors like Standard Bank set their minimum at R258,000, Absa aims to ensure equitable pay across all regions.
