🚨 IT'S OFFICIAL: The Trump administration has just SUBPOENAED Kathy Hochul's New York because they are BLOCKING an investigation into the non-English speaking CDL driver who caused a fatal bus crash in Virginia — Fox's @BillMelugin_
He came from China, wreaked havoc, and CHILDREN were killed.
Lay the hammer, put the company out of service and BLOCK NY from handing out CDLs!
Nelson lay down flat on his side in the sun on Thursday, which nobody at that yard had ever seen him do, and Hector, a Cavalry Black who has not once in twenty two years been the one keeping watch, stood over a small grey donkey for forty minutes and did not put his head down to the grass.
A donkey does not lie flat. A horse will, if it feels safe enough, and Hector does it most afternoons now, legs out, eye shut, an old soldier finally off duty. A donkey is a different design. He comes from country with no cover in it and nothing to outrun anything across, and the animal that came out of that country sleeps on its feet, or folded down on its brisket with its head up and its ears working, ready. Nelson has slept like that every day of his life.
On Thursday it was warm and still and the flies had eased, and the farmer looked out of the kitchen window and could not, for a moment, find the donkey. Then he found him. Flat out in the middle of the field, neck stretched, legs straight.
His heart did what every horseman's heart does at that sight.
An ear moved.
The farmer put his tea down and went out anyway, and stopped at the gate, because Hector was standing over him.
Standing square, four feet from the donkey's back, head up, ears going one way and then the other, the whole seventeen hands of him tuned to the hedge and the lane and the sky. A flight animal doing the guard animal's job. He was doing it badly, with his eyes wide and every muscle set to leave, and he did not leave.
A pheasant came out of the bottom hedge at about the twenty minute mark, which on any other day sends Hector sideways.
He looked at it. He looked back at the donkey. He stayed.
The farmer stood at the gate and did not go in, because there was nothing wrong with the donkey and nothing wrong with the horse, and because he had a feeling he was watching a debt being paid.
Nelson got up at ten past three, shook the grass out of his coat, looked at the horse for a moment as though checking the field had been adequately run in his absence, and walked to the hay.
Hector dropped a hip and let his lip go soft and was an old woolly gelding again inside a minute.
He has spent four years being kept safe by an animal a third his size. On Thursday, for forty minutes, he got to return it, and he did it shaking, and he did it anyway.
Every child is beautifully and wonderfully made by God. ❤️ Our differences were never meant to determine our worth, they are part of what makes each life unique.
These precious twins are a beautiful reminder that God’s handiwork doesn’t need to look like everyone else’s to be extraordinary. The Bible reminds us, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” — Psalm 139:14
May we raise a generation that looks beyond differences and sees what God sees: a life created with purpose, worthy of kindness, dignity, and love. 🙏❤️
No matter how tired you are…when your dad complains he ain’t seen you much lately (although you saw him 2-3 weeks ago), you drive home to see the man. 💜
We are Cajun Country as it gets.
We not only take the wild hogs down but we skin, clean and eat them.
If you clean them immediately and “careful” with the meat it’s good to eat. No matter the size. The hide may stink but clean and rinse well. We’ve Been doing this for decades. I didn’t shoot tonight because my daughter wanted to go and 2 other family members. I counted down 3, 2, 1
And boom they shot.
