If you're implementing an MCP on a very large, wide dataset, what are the latest methods of doing so? Defining functions (tools), CodeAct, or just giving it read access to your dataset (unlikely given space)

rolling out a big redesign tonight, moving away from projects and things to just things .. and things 👀

added a kanban style UI, the original list UI had reached its limits, keeping it there but kanban is cleaner

middle of the night realized this thread only covered the things i realized the app needs, but didnt really draw attention to that in the span of an hour a completely non technical person was able to design product features, feed it through cloud agents and get the updates on their phone within minutes upon merging to main. something that wouldve taken hours or days as a team to get them to communicate and properly implement with an engineer

concluded first UAT with nontechnical business owner, incredible feedback you really only get by using the product with someone over an hour to get honest feedback, highly recommend for refocusing on what adds value for real users. 🧵

- better onboarding to better craft UI for different levels of experience in tech
- hide elements that are not functional without API keys and add tooltips on how to add them
- hide features that are kind of just noise at the moment

just when you let your guard down and merge without review and have to ask your agent why the map UI stopped working

theres something oddly satisfying about the new map view layout that makes it very engaging to come up with features and kick off agents who deploy the changes. feels like ive uncovered some bit of psychology into addicting UI
