The proposal to increase Lok Sabha seats from 543 to 850 will systematically reduce the voice of the South, while rewarding unchecked population growth elsewhere. This is nothing but punishing progress and good governance.

The Southern states will stand united, speak in one voice, and defend the true spirit of federalism. We will not allow the South to be politically marginalised.

Tamil Nadu CM @mkstalin issued a stern warning to the Union government over the proposed #delimitation exercise ahead of the special session of #Parliament, scheduled to begin on April 16.

In a video message, the CM stated that the state would launch a massive agitation if its interests were harmed or if southern states were disproportionately affected.

"This special session is being forcibly convened in the midst of elections and Tamil Nadu and West Bengal," he added.

which “clerk” is working for whom ₹60 clerkage is being charged per passenger?

Please clearly explain what service is being provided for this deduction.
Transparency is expected from a digital platform.

Booked Tatkal Ticket - stays in WL - IRCTC cancels it after chart prep.

Booked a train ticket via IRCTC for ₹321 (Kanpur → Delhi).

Ticket remained Waitlisted (WL 10) and got auto-cancelled.

Facts: • Ticket fare: ₹290
• IRCTC charges deducted
• Refund received: ₹250
• ₹60 deducted without any service

My questions: • Why is IRCTC charging fees when the ticket is not confirmed?

What exact rule allows deduction of ₹60 for a cancelled waitlisted ticket?

• How is this fair to passengers?
Passengers deserve transparent rules and full refunds when no service is provided.

People would have asked trains for inside Karnataka like Shivamogga to Raichur via Hosapete, Mangaluru to Kalaburagi, Bengaluru to Raichuru via Hosapete and etc. Look at what we are getting West Bengal to Bengaluru. So this shows everything decided in the AC Rooms not from people point of views. Federal Structure just found a place in Dust Bin.

The Glory of the Indian Judicial System

- 1968: Sopan Gaikwad aged 55, buys a land with a registered deed. Later, he came to know that the land was already mortgaged to a bank.
- 1969: Bank sends him a notice for loan default by the original owner. Sopan goes to court.
- 1982: After 14 years, trial court gives judgment in Sopan’s favour. He is 69. Original owner challenges the decision.
- 1987: High Court cancels the judgment. Sopan is 74.
- 1988: Sopan files appeal in High Court. He is 75.
- 2015: After 27 years of pending appeal, High Court dismisses his case. Sopan is 102. He files another appeal.
- 2019: High Court dismisses second appeal for delay and lawyer’s non appearance. Sopan did not know his lawyer was absent. He is 106.
- 2021: Sopan approaches Supreme Court. He is 108.
- 12 July 2021: Supreme Court agrees to hear the case. On the same day, lawyer informs that Sopan has died.

Sopan bought land at 55. He fought for ownership for 53 years and died at 108.
