Hoosier born & bred. Went to my first Pacers game before I was 1 y/o. Been in my blood ever since #Boombaby. Grew up 18 blocks from IMS. Can still hear ๐๏ธ
@TheEXECUTlONER_ At our store, we were forced to move our AC units to the roof to prevent tweakers & scavengers from huffing the Freon & stealing the copper.
@HoopsHubNBA I like the idea of developing Risacher. Murphy is a win now move fs. Not sure we have enough assets to get that one done. Who else do you have your eyes on?
@CoachAdragna Leading to wrong scores & inadvertent buzzers requiring referee (or book) correction. I would that officials concentrate more on play than the clock. I believe that this can be overcome with an investment (money) in people to do these jobs, but my question is where funds come fro
@CoachAdragna Well written. My biggest objection is the implementation. Iโve attended my fair share of IHSAA games (boys & girls). It has been my experience that (especially at the girls games) that who is running the clock is often a grandparent or younger sibling of a player.
@SidnelsonEu If Iโm being active (playing basketball), the earbuds donโt stay in my ears the traditional way. Iโve tried his way & while the will stay in my ears, the microphone doesnโt work (canโt talk on the phone or use voice commands) & the Bluetooth connection is much less reliable.
@sdskol1983@HoosierHaze I believe you, but I would have to see it. At my daughterโs HS games, it wasnโt unusual to literally have a 5-6yo boy running the clock. IHSAA (or the school) would have to pony up some money to actually pay competent people for scoreboard, clocks & book for me to feel ok abt it
@Cru33@KyleNeddenriep This has been exactly my point. Grandparents & kids are often running the clock. Lots of errors & inadvertent buzzers already. Now you want to add a shot clock in to their responsibilities?! It would lead to delays & more work for already struggling referees.
@HawkEmDownChris In the arena, probably young LeBron. Up close & personal Chandler Thompson from Ball State. I saw CT do things in practice & from just past the end of the bench, along the baseline that I didnโt think were physically possible.
