Captured near Boulder City NV, this timelapse of the full "pink" moon rising over a radar outside Las Vegas. A plane was also captured transitioning the Full Moon as it made it way towards Harry Reid Airport. @LasVegasLocally@TeddFlorendo#fullmoon#pinkmoon
Ran out to chase the Geminidd Meteor Shower last night/early this morning. Unfortunately it was mostly cloudy. We did manage to still capture a few dozen meteors in a clear patch near Orion. #Geminids2025@LasVegasLocally@KevinJanison@TeddFlorendo
@HawsSallie naked eye at times (NOT the entire times, when you see it pop in the time lapse, it was naked eye visible) Even the water was red to the naked eye during those "sub storms" where it got really intense for several minutes (Maybe 10 to 15 minutes at a time)
Here is the timelapse (slightly different angles too) from one of my cameras going last night from about 7:15 to 11pm. So wild. Please feel free to share and use (w credit) Strongest aurora I've ever seen here in Southern Nevada #aurora#lasvegas#astrophotography
LAKE MEAD 11/11/2025. Aurora popped and was naked eye visible for a while. Now only in camera. Hoping for more....later tonight or tomorrow night. Wow.. @TeddFlorendo@LasVegasLocally#Aurora#lasvegas
@VagnerLori@TeddFlorendo@LasVegasLocally Yes!!! But it looks like at this very second the strongest CME will hit the Earth during our daytime here. We may miss the best time. And clouds too. Boo.
