I think there is this misconception that mindfulness means passive. Not true. Some of the fiercest intellectuals and activists I know actively changed the world, but did so with a mindful presence and a mindful awareness of what they were doing and their impact on others.

Writing exposes gaps in your knowledge and logic. It pushes you to articulate assumptions and consider counterarguments.
